The skylight darkens
Gloomy shadows will prevail
'Til the storm has passed.

Rain falls from the sky
Tornado warnings nearby
I am safe indoors.

Wind rips through the trees
Sending autumn leaves floating
I will need to rake.

Traffic jams abound
Why can't people drive in rain?
I hope I'm not late.
